I wouldn´t say it´s an amazing soundtrack but it does its job quite well. The soundtrack fits perfectly for the series. The colours and the amount of detail in every environment is a pleasure to watch. The animation is one of the bests out there. This anime is not yet finished, but after the last episodes i think i´ve seen enough to make a worthy review.
However, there are some things you need to know before you watch. My philosophy: you can always find something in an anime that you´ve never seen before, and for me that´s enough to make it a worthy watch (which is why i´d never tell anyone not to watch an anime). I think that´s all i should say about the plot. The episodes are focus on Violet´s job as a Doll, the things she learn from them, and the story behind her strange behaviour. Dolls are hired by regular people in order to express in a letter their thoughts for someone, the best as posible. After the war is over, Violet starts working as an "Auto Memories Doll" in order to understand her commander´s last words. Violet Evargarden is a young girl known as "the weapon" during the war, because of her insane skills at the battlefield.
